The current 970 EVO Plus memory chips come in four capacity choices – 250GB, 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB volumes. The Plus series uses the M.2 standard and 8cm form factor. Since the SSD uses the newest version of the NVMe protocol, these chips require PCI-Express 3.0 with x4 lanes. The 2TB edition has double the endurance of the 1TB model at 1200 TB written vs 600 TBW. These models are capable of 3.5GB/s read output.
